　　翻译公司译员在翻译过程中，由于汉语和英语两种语言在语法和表达习惯上的差异，有时候必 须改变原文某些词语的词类或句子成分才能有效地传达原文的准确意思。转译法就是 服务于这一目的的翻译方法。英译汉的词类转换主要涉及各种词类的转译。它包括转 换成动词、名词、形容词或副词；而句子成分的转换包括主语与宾语之间的转换，主 语转换成谓语、状语等。

　　关于各种词类的转译
　　一、英语名词的转译 A.英语名词转译成动词(1)由动词派生的名词

      1)One after another, speakers called for the downfall of imperialism, abolition of exploi- tezio/i of man by man, /i6eratiora of the oppressed of the world.发 g 人-t*接着一?个表不要 打倒帝国主义，要消灭剥削人的制度,要解放世界上的被压迫人民。
　　2)The growing awareness by millions of Africans of their extremely poor and backward living conditions has prompted them to take resolute measures and create new ones.数以百万 计的非洲人已逐渐意识到他们的生活状况异常贫穷落后,这就促使他们采取坚决措施 去创造新的生活条件。
　　二、具有动作意味的名词
　　1)Britain has no such natural protection from a of Holly Wood products.英国没有 这种天然的保护来阻挡好莱坞影片长驱直人。
　　2) She has a good command of the English language.她精通英语。
　　三、以-er结尾表示身份或职业的名词
　　1) Talking with his son, the old man was the forgiver of the young man's past wrong do-ings.在和儿子谈话时，老人宽恕了年轻人过去所干的坏事。
　　2) He is no smoker, but his father is a c/iain-smofer.他倒是不抽烟，但他父亲却一■支 接着一支不停地抽。

　　四、作为习语主体的名词
　　He took a final look at his former wife, and left without a word.他最后看了前妻一?眼，一言不发地离开了。
　　五、英语名词转译成形容词
　　由形容词派生的名词，以及有些加不定冠词的名词作表语时，往往可以转译为形 容词。
　　1)The paZZor of her face indicated clearly how she was feeling at the moment.她苍白的 脸色清楚地表明她那时的情绪。
　　2)Independent thinking is an absolute necessity in study.独立思考对学习是绝对必要 Wo3 ) We are deeply convinced of the correctness of this policy and firmly determined to pur- sue it.我们深信这一政策是正确的，并有坚定的决心继续奉行这一政策。
　　六、英语名词转译成副词
　　1)The new mayor earned some appreciation by the courtesy of coming to visit the city poor.新市长礼貌性地前来访问城市贫民,获得了他们的一些好感。
　　2)It is our great pleasure to note that our shipbuilding industry is developing vigorously.
　　我们很高兴地看到，我国的造船工业正在蓬勃发展。
