翻译方式表达中审校的重要意义

审校阶段是理解与表达的进一步深化，是对原文内容进一步审核，对译文语言进 一步推敲、润色加工的阶段，它决定着译稿质量的优劣。许多问题就出现在这个环节 上。因此，审校是翻译过程中一个很重要的阶段，并非可有可无。通过表达之后的审 校，我们可以发现译文的一些问题或失误，做到查漏补缺、及时修正。
在审校的过程中，首先检查译文是否正确地转述了原文内容，是否有错译和漏译； 其次，检查是否有语言上的明显错误或失误，如时态、语态、语气、单复数、词性、 拼写、大小写、标点符号等。
尤为值得一提的是语气和中式英文（Chinglish)。许多话语除了字面表达的意思 外，有时还渗透在字里行间，带有一定的甚至是强烈的感情色彩。如：
①路漫漫其修远兮，吾将上下而求索。The way ahead is long; I see no ending, yet high and low I'll search with my will unbending.
另外，带有中国特色的词汇不断出现，致使初学翻译的人很难分辨什么是中式英 文，什么是中国英语（China English,即：为表述中国特有之物而应运而生的英语）。 随着时代的发展，产生了不少新词汇、新提法，它们都是中国特有的，在英文里没有 或一时找不到相应的译法，即使译出来也需要一定的磨合的过程。这类译文往往是解 释性的，如果难以解释就将其逐字译出，很容易出现中式英文。所以翻译公司译员在翻译和审校时需 要倍加小心。如：
①“三讲”（讲学习、讲政治、讲正气）
初译：emphasize the need to study, to have political awareness and to be honest and up?right改译：emphasis on three things： study, politics and integrity初译是解释性的，显然没有原文简洁。改译后简单明了，但也没完全摆脱中式英 文的味道。另外，politics -字有时含贬意。这就需要在审校时进一步斟酌：“three em?phases” (to stress theoretical study, political awareness and good conduct)。
②国际关系民主化。Democracy should be practised in international relations.
汉语中经常出现“化”字，有的可直译，如“经济全球化”（economic globaliza?tion) ，“社会主义现代化” （socialist modernization)。 但不能千篇一律地套用 “-ize”， 如果把上句译成：“Internationa丨 relations should be democratized”，意思就不对了。
